MONKEYJAR.APP
Sales commission system
made simple
THE NEED
MonkeyJar is a sales commission system offered in a SaaS model designed for medium-sized companies, so they can effectively compete with larger players in the market. MonkeyJar shows that sales commissions can be calculated smarter, faster and more securely than using Excel.
The MonkeyJar app is dedicated to finance and sales directors, people responsible for billing, as well as salespeople, sales agents and consultants. Our goal was to create a completely new image taking into account the target group from the brand name to the creation of the final version of the logo, website, to animations, designs, icons, social media templates and many more materials.
DISCOVERY
We started our work by preparing a new site map and agreeing on the key features of the site to enable the user to easily navigate the site, quickly find information and easily register a visit. Once the key functions of the site were established, we began work on finding the ideal visual style. We examined the market environment, how visual design is currently built in a similar environment, who the site is aimed at and how the visual style should be built. Step by step, creating completely new visual concepts, we created a design that perfectly fit the company's identity.

WEBSITE
The goal of the website design as well as the entire brand identity was clear from the beginning: we are creating a jungle theme with accents in reference to the monkey. The color scheme was to be dark green used interchangeably with light gray sections. One of the main leading motifs is also exotic leaf patterns placed in the background, as well as single leaves decorating some sections. The question remained regarding the additional color, which was to complete the whole concept. We prepared more than a dozen versions of the additional color from warm shades of yellow to more decisive shades of orange and a definite red, lime green. The final choice was ochre - not aggressive at all, but completely pleasing to the viewer and matching the MonkeyJar audience.
SIGNET CONCEPTS
We have prepared a total of dozens of signet versions based mainly on the symbols of a jar, coin, monkey, commission settlement, jungle motif. The choice was not easy, we improved the current versions and created brand new, increasingly less obvious versions of the signet.
SIGNET VARIANTS
When the final version was chosen, we created some more versions of the signet for comparison, so that we could finally decide that this was the right version.
LOGO VARIANTS
Okay, we already have a version of the sigil selected. Now it's left to us to design the logotype part, where we also created dozens of versions. The main goal in this case was to show the play on words “Monkey” “Money”. So we started modifying the letter “k” in different ways, playing with the play on words. In the end, however, the choice fell on the classic version.
LOGO GENESIS
The genesis of the logo refers to three main symbols: a coin, a jar and a monkey fragment - in this case, a monkey's tail.
FINAL VERSIOM LOGO
The final “Here we go!” was uttered. The final choice was a linear version of the sigil, which does not explicitly say symbols and ideas. This is a thoughtful and apt choice, aimed at the target audience. The signet is dynamic, yet minimalist, unique, identifying the brand identity. We also prepared an animation and logo intro that will be used in future instructional and promotional materials for MonkeyJar.
LOGO WITH TAGLINE
In the course of the work, the need arose to prepare a version of the logo along with the tagline. We efficiently prepared several versions to choose from, and the final choice was the classic and most readable and responsive version. Based on it, versions were prepared for: MonkeyJar Agent, Admin and Architect.
PATTERNS
Patterns - this is precisely one of the main elements of MonkeyJar's leading theme. We created four different patterns consisting of exotic, tropical leaves in the colors of the brand. They give a unique and unmistakable character to the brand. The patterns are used in the background with appropriate transparency or as decorative fragments.
ICONS
As part of the project, we designed icons mainly presenting the app's functionalities and the industries it targets. To emphasize a more unique style, we placed selected leaves from patterns under the icon.
ACCENTS AND OTHER
We also designed various graphic accents consisting of lines and leaves, lushly shaped like a monkey's tail of thicker lines, on which we placed slogans related to the brand's activities.
SOCIAL MEDIA ASSETS
After finalizing all graphic designs, we were also asked to prepare a set of templates for use on social media - facebook, instagram, linkedin, x. As part of this task, we quickly and efficiently designed dozens of templates in various formats and configurations for use on social media, in such a way that the client could freely edit their content for their own purposes in the program of their choice.
